I would like to personally share my experience working with Pam Medlin and Key Resources. Throughout my years working in Human Resources at Cone Mills - White Oak Plant, we had never used a temporary agency before. White Oak is a union plant, and the subject of temporary use had never been approved. For some time we had been experiencing problems and a very high degree of turnover in one area of our plant. The job itself is labor intensive and very repetitive. It is also in a critical area of the plant that must be filled at all times. If this area is not working, the rest of the plant will have to shut down. It is the type of position that was always somewhat harder to fill. but with the labor market as tight as it is in Greensboro we had an even harder time finding and retaining employees.

After discussing the issue with the union, we decided to try using temporary staff to fill the open jobs in this area. We selected Key Resources to be our agency and have had a great experience. They supplied us with the people we needed and have serviced this account on nights and weekends if there was a need. We have had such good success with Key Resources that we are hiring many of the employees to be full time Cone employees.

Since our initial dealings with Key Resources we have targeted other jobs at the plant that tend to be more difficult and have allowed Key Resources employees in those areas. The staff and service we get from Key Resources have been great. I would recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a good staffing agency.
